.Beautiful Disaster.

Alright i know i've haven't been updating much recently.

It doesn't take more than an idiot to figure out WHY.

But then again i'm still coping pretty well.Kinda expected a more stressful scenerio. But things are pretty manageable so far. Orientation Week pales in comparison to Arts Camp in terms of the fun n energy input. But then i guess its gonna get better...

Tomorrow's Flag Day, Wednesday's SRC games (battle games etc) n Thursday's kinda like mini performance nite.

Then comes e long-awaited RAG Day... The mini Chingay parade between faculties.

My Rag dance practices are practically everyday now... since its gettin closer. I guess e seniors want perfection. Okie i'l try.

My O Week OG freshies are startin to bond pretty well too. A few crushes i know are forming. I hope we have some Kaetna couples, that'll be real interestin. Geez....

I'll be posting pics after this crazy week has ended... That is if i remember to bring my digi cam to campus... i keep forgettin.

I'm still in bidding stage for my modules too. Still have a few more rounds to go. I've managed to get 3 mods successfully out of the 5 i want:

1/ Geog introductory module: Place, Env n Society (to reaffirm whether i want it as a major)
2/ Econs introductory module: An Intro to Economic Analysis (just for pure exposure)
3/ Eng Lit intro module: Intro to Literary Studies (to regain my long lost love for lit as a subj)

I so (x100) wanted to take the intro to Sociology as another exp mod....

I even had plans to declare it as a Major in the following semester...

But i was disgustingly outbidded....

In Round 1C for thursday's lecture....*sulks*

So i thought i could still get it at round 2A.... but this time at the remaining wednesday lecture...

Boy was i wrong!!!

There's no more vacancies left!!! *cries in deep regret*

I need to wallow in self-pity once again.

Like why the hell in such a short time was it gone??? Even the most popular mod, the Intro to Psychology is still up for GRABS????!!!

I cannot fathom this weird bidding system... And i can't grapple with its ever so fickle dynamics.

Pure insanity. To think i can't even get Sociology!!!

So...I've replaced it by English Language....

Yesh..yesh...I'l be bidding for the mod: The Nature of Language.

Its basically an overview of linguistics. A study of the "methods, goals n science of spoken language."

Wateva that means...

I just hope i like it, seems pretty fascinating. And since its not very popular, i'l probably get it.

The last mod i've bidded for is the General Education mod on American Studies: The U.S. From Settlement to Superpower.

Thats gonna be one helluva subject!At least i hope. I love many things abt America. Yesh even its trash. And learning abt its history is gonna give me a clearer picture of its importance to world politics n its influences on world culture n economy etc etc...

Gee, Can't wait for lectures to start!!!

P.S.: Btw my Dad has ordered a laptop for me! Yippie! That means free access anytime anywhere without annoying parental blocks n sibling fights...
