.Beautiful Disaster.

Lectures began last week. This week it will still be all lectures before actual lessons start to commence with the insertion of tutorials into timetable.

....But even then i'm beginning to feel stressed up n apprehensive already.... I feel that i'm lagging behind my other friends taking the same modules as me. Somehow they seem smarter, can express their ideas more effectively than me, n are quicker to grasp concepts n ask questions.

I feel dumb. *sigh*

And i must say that i didn't enjoy all e introductory lectures i went to. American studies was really interesting, so was Geography(lecturers were hillarious)and Eng Lit was great except for the fact that it was difficult to comprehend sometimes.(Sighz the downfall of not having learnt A'level Lit...)

But Eng Lang was incredibly dry n ....well i dun really know how to put it but I don't really understand wat the module is gonna try to teach for nuts! But i guess it will get better. Econs was one lecture tt i felt instantaneous dislike for even after barely sitting thru the first 15 mins of it...All the curve sketchings just brought back bad memories of grappling with econmic concepts. And the lecturer's fast-paced teaching didn't leave much to be desired. It was like the module was cramping 2 years of jc econs syllabus into one uni semester. U'd have to be pretty solid with ur basics to do well in this. I'l just have to do lots of revisiting to my jc notes i guess.

But i know exactly why econs or even eng lang holds little appeal for me... they're far too one-dimensional. Lots of principles n guidelines to follow. I like subjects that give the mind space to maneouvre n ponder upon. Tats the artsy person in me ;)

Anywayz i registered for my tutorials this afternoon. I have no lectures on today till Wednesday, which means i only go back to school on Thurs n Friday, Cool huh? My mum wonders why university curriculum is so slack. Haha...
