I've spent ages trying to figure out how to upload these photos up since networking problems kept cropping up with Hello!.

Alright so bash night was last Saturday nite (28/8) @newsroom bar. Before heading down, mi, swi, jerry, kristy, teresa, yumin n their fren cindy went for dinner at City Hall Cafe Cartel.

My Carbonara yum yum..... But the serving was too big, so I ended up not finishing it. Yeah, not even after sharing it ard the table with everyone taking some mouthfuls :) Beverage was Hazelnut Frappe..Nice too!

Then when we got to the club at 9:30pm, the crowd was kinda dismal?! Like they had to hassle ppl to get into the club so they could start the pagaent on time... How pathetic.

Me n Denise! Denise happens to have worked at Dermopower during the early part of this yr too! In fact she worked at the same branch as me for the L'oreal program except tt she worked on sundays only. I never saw her then though. Coincidental? Maybe S'pore's just the smallest world...

Opto(my OG grp in arts camp) hardly got to see much of each other since the term started, so it was nice to see familiar faces again. Though its not everyone, at least its a 5 ppl pose! Notice Kristy? She's got great dress sense in tt she actually used a pink scarf to touch up her otherwise empty-lookin ensemble of black skirt n tube :)How creative!

Then there was the Arts pagaent...No comments. Shallow like any other beauty pagaent, and bland like any other local ones. S'pore has got to put a ban to pagaents islandwide i think. Its a national disgrace emphasizing the startling lack of beauties of our small peopled nation.

But still people like to dramatize events this way. The contestants were typical lookin students u'd find anywhere ard campus, so i thought maybe they had some X factor or fantabulous personality? ......

I couldn't figure tt one out either. Their answers were straightforward n politically correct. Bland. Boring.

The girls(no offence) looked too slutty(cos of makeup)to be considered beauties. The only thing credible? Nice legs. Other than tt, they're just pretty ard the pole...

But the guys were much better. At least they looked charming enough on stage. Here's a peek:

This shot is a bit blur, but its the best i could manage. The 'hunks' of the pagaent...Btw the guy in yellow berms won. Melvin's his name, nice personality, natural on stage, though not the most handsome.

And if u're wondering, i think i hf his no.!!!(Its somewhere in my wallet)

Then it was time to party. But no one ot the momentum to dance in the beginning cos the music was just dreadful retro n old-fashioned pop hits/world music?!! The place wasn't great either. Dimmed and smokey, it looked more like an opium den complete with Qing dynasty statues. It started getting packed when deparados started streaming in, along with crashers of all kinds, including....Suprise suprise!!!Crystal n augustio. Yup of all ppl...

Some thoughts recollected that night:

-The reason why gals(decent ones at least) do not dance with any Tom Dick or Harry in clubs is simple. 1)They know e guys usually have neg. motives, i.e.: to grope u all over. 2)They can't usually see them well enough to at least assess how they look like?! Why dance with a possible ogre rite?

-But then again even familiar faces can't be trusted to dance with *sulks*

-Shun guys who sweat heavily on the dance floor. Its eekie when they brush on u....Yucks!

-Try not to jump on ur heels even if u're high on tat song. It would hurt a hell lot later....

-Don't be stupid enuff to get urself drunk for no reason at all. One drunk gal walked into the fountain, another puked along the roads non-stop. Talk abt unattractiveness.

I left the club at about 3:30am along with Denise n Swi lin. Went back to spend the night at Swi's house. It was great fun, better than the arts bash itself i think.
