Shall we Dance?

I watched it this afternoon. Personally really liked it, Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon put up an impeccable performance. I hated J'Lo's acting, but boy can she really dance! And the soundtrack to the movie is really nice...I loved Peter Gabriel's Book of Love n Sway by the Pussycats. Really setz the mood of the movie.

And Desperate Housewives on Ch 5 has officially got me hooked to the blackbox! Love it! Its like the Stepford Wives and Sex & the City combined. Now its Sex & the suburbs. Very kewl. :) No more Monday Blues!!! I wonder when Ch 8 series, not to mention Ch 5 local series, can ever produce a hit series comparable to this one. All they ever do is to imitate screen plots/ideas from overseas productions. When are they gonna realise that watever they imitate can only at most be second best?

Take the success of S'pore Idol, you MC ppl really think that was a goddamn fantastic job? Well thank the original producers before u guys get big-headed cos there's no way the station could have earned millions without the huge success of the original. *phfft* In fact, the trailers, host and judges were really below standards. :(

Alright i'm sounding pissed. I guess i'm just agitated at how Mediacorp made it sound as if they deserve full credit for the success of SI when there's been so much complaints abt the production aspect of it. *hmmph*

Anywayz, have been really down this dayz. I have a persistent fever that will not go away, a blocked nose, cheer practices, uniform disasters, readings to complete, upcoming projects to do, a financially strapped predicament to deal with and a thousand deadlines to reach.

Whats new? It's LIFE rite. Pop some panadols, breathe deeply n move on.

(Okie i'm makin my life sound real bad. I guess i've exaggerated, its me, i'm always dwelling on the negative things.)

So much for promising a much brighter better post. Will try the next time. CNY's cumin rite?
