.Beautiful Disaster.

Sometimes i wish for rest,
Sometimes inner peace.
Sometimes i wished people wouldn't be too quick
to criticise, too quick to be judgemental.

Sometimes i prayed i had 2nd, 3rd chances
To do things differently, to rewrite history
Sometimes i wished i had a better childhood,
Sometimes just the courage to forget the past.

Sometimes i yearn for strength,
Most times salvation,
Sometimes acceptance
Most times love.

Sometimes i feel inadequate,
Sometimes insecure,
Sometimes in denial
Most times out of control.

There are times when screams are silent
There are times when frustration kills
There are times when loneliness makes me numb
There are times when smiles are just facades of pretension.

Those times i learn to let go,
Those times i took to heal
Those times i'm weak & weary
Those times i'm lost adrift.

In time the wounds will heal
In time the pain will fade
In time the morn will send
New better brighter shades.
