.Beautiful Disaster.

Haven't blogged for quite a while
But life has been going on at pretty much
that same old mundane fashion
peppered with silly nonsense
like these i shall now mention

Managed to get all my modules pretty easily this round
Considering the fact tt other people had to bid n pray hard for theirs,
Its a blessing.
though i'm not sure whether my decision to take 2 breadths this sem is wise
just gotta cross fingers n pray hard
everything goes smoothly

Few more weeks left
Before everything i'm currently involved in comes to a closure
And the stupid mugging cap has to be donned again
Somehow that familiar nauseating feeling
is gradually whiffing back

Home-side,
My mom wants to morph me into some friggin ah lian
She brought me glittery denim hot pants today
The kind that made me gawk when i laid eyes on it
The kind u'd wanna hide somewhere deep down in ur cupboard forever n ever
And never let it see the light of day

And as if that traumatic experience wasn't enough
My kid bro is currently running a high fever
Coupled with flu cold n sore throat
And in case u're mistaken,
I'm not a concerned sis or anythin of that sort
But when u have a dramatic bro
Who comes to ur room every now n then, insisting tt u have to touch his forehead, look at his MC, n listen to him whine n moan like he's about to die the very next day..

Its just hard not to take notice.

And with all that nonsense revolving around me
Its very reassuring to hear
An old-crush-turned-friend's confession
Of how he actually found me appealing
when i was a teenage grade-grind in JC dayz
Bespectacled n awkward, pimply messy hair and all

in contrast to now

Not everyone is superficial perhaps
Or various definitions of attractiveness just exist :p

Feeling great fatigue all of a sudden as i'm typing this
But somehow
for a moment since a long while
Life seems much more fulfilled than it has ever been
