Its virtually impossible to even have a normal conversation with my Dad.

He's either in a bad temper, which is 90% of the time, or too convinced you're going to make a request that is not worth his time, or effort.

I keep a good one metre radius away from him in the house, cos any nearer than that, its unbelievably awkward, or the tension is so thick its unbearable.

And because dad is so convinced that he's always correct in any arguments, opening my mouth to argue my points across is identical to sending an invitation for trouble.

And how does one so condescending, disdainful, bossy, smarty and contemptuous ever believes he can relate to anyone he obviously treats lower?
