.Beautiful Disaster.

I've probably lost almost all interest in blogging~
I blogsurf other journals, yet i've no input of my own
Pretty sad state of affairs, but then again
My life is a quiet humdrum existence

Drop me a prince charming or a million bucks
Either one
and i promise
i'l blog for everyday's sake

Handed in my SC2101 term paper today
Wrote 14 pages font 11, no spaced, inclusive of graphs, tables and reference
An individual effort that probably took up way too much time
3 full days in fact
Only to realise today
that the format was 10-15 pages
font 12 and double spaces
Which meant i wrote double
of what was expected...*wth*

Whats done cannot be undone anyway
Besides i thought i did a pretty neat work.
Looked almost like an academic journal itself if you ask me
Though it sapped my life away temporarily

And the BIG E-X-A-M-S are nearing
In fact my first paper is exactly 10 days away
which means i can give my 'mini-celebration for finishing term papers' idea
a toss in the wind

I can feel the stress level rising
This afternoon as i handed in my papers to the Soci Department in AS1
A girl collapsed right in front of my very eyes
Her eyes rolled upwards and she began frothing around the mouth
She was having fits...
Seconds after handing in that very same term paper
i was just about to hand in~

Its unusual how uni students can sacrifice too much for their studies
Sacrificing meals, play, friendships, activities, family
Just for a final grade score
we get at the end of each sem
A score that determines everything it seems
Your whole worth and entire value
as deemed by the people around you

Sad yet so inevitable
We chose this path didn't we?

I'm dreading the three weeks ahead
the sleep deprivation, late night crammings, social isolation & mental exhaustion

And so the next time i probably post would be after my last paper
on the 1st of December
Would everyone still be around to meet up after that?
For shopping sprees, movie marathons, chalets, Christmas parties?

And no way am i gonna repeat my nightmarish Christmas experience of last year~
I hate Orchard during Christmas~
