Pictures and a lil good update

This blog needs a little good update =)

Christmas was awesome, though i felt a lil embaressed not putting in effort into preparing gifts or cards. I was more like at the recieving end this year...Well next year i shall be better! And perhaps even more broke than i already am.

And i so so love these photos taken during the pre-xmas Old-School themed party at Char's place. I am the embaressingly labelled 'pseudo-SAJC stern looking councillor with the awkward trembling hands' Alas! my dreams of becoming a well-known photographer have been dashed...Maybe i ought to sign up at MOE and earn my way to a disciplinarian mistress position... I did resemble my jc disc. mistress after all =P

This December has been a nice holiday break. I made the conscious decision not to work even though i knew i needed the money, but i felt i deserved the break even more. * I'm so full of excuses* I've been going out almost every day, and my room is still accumulating dust/hair strands/ dog fur...I shall get my butt down to cleaning it up next year =D

So yea i've been unshamedly squandering my parent's money, on movies, food and small gifts for my self~ The queen deserves some self-pampering yea? Watched, since my exams ended, Chicken Little, Saw 2, Pride & Prejudice, King Kong, The descent, The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Chronicles of Narnia. The last one's my fave! A 4/5 popcorns rating it deserves just cos the littlest Lucy Pevensie is so terribly alluring~ Its a movie packed with adventure, fantasy, betrayal, love and friendship. I cannot wait for Memoirs of a Geisha to be out though =) I've heard rave reviews about it, though the casting of Zhang Ziyi as Sayuri is a disappointing choice. Last i 'heard', her English was inarticulate & incomprehensible...phfft!

[I'm pretty pissed at this moment because my msn messenger is being cranky. I'm attempting to log in for the umpteenth time and everytime i do, all the windows hang except for this blog 'create post' window. Perhaps its telling me i ought to blog instead of yakking.]

I'm looking forward to next semester like an eager child because my modules are pretty damn interesting =) There's Soci of Family with Paulin Straughen, Soci of Deviance with Criminologist Dr. Gana, Soci of Education wit forgothisnamelecturer and South Asian wit Swi! and Intro to Computing wit Scholar-the-Derek! I love how my time-table looks like already...and maybe if i'm not too jinxed, i'l get it just the way it is. =D

Lastly, i'd like to give thanks to the year 2005. It hasn't been the smoothest or greatest year, but there are certain blessings that the year has bestowed and which i'd gladly give appreciation for. Here they are, as listed:

- For restoring my faith in Christ, and for giving my life a much deeper sense of purpose & direction.
- For blessing my family(esp, grans) and me with good health.
- For being able to improve my results and restore my confidence in myself.
- For maintaining old friendships & embracing new ones =)
- For popping out unexpected suprises in all the wierd moments and places.

I'd like to think 2005 just zoomed by pretty fast, but when i think about Arts camp & o'week, about my year 1 sem 2 French class, about all the OG outings etc, its been a such a eventful year after all, coupled with all the romantic break-up and patch-ups happening, for those around me, and hey Hollywood too~

And since this would probably be my last entry of the year, here are the resolutions for year 2006. Which if i maintain my yearly track record, only 10% gets achieved. Just for kicks though, here they are, in no order of priorities:

Health:

-To end my sleep nights, and wake up in time for breakfasts.
-To have a healthier diet, and to eat my daily greens. eww..
-To start long-distance running, on a weekly basis at *least*.

Academic:

-To improve the all-important CAP score, which is all we uni students ever live for.
-To complete my book list, and read more great novels. =)

Romance:

-Singlehood is bliss is bliss is bliss. Seriously, i'l leave it as one big fat question mark. I like my shoulders free from emotional baggage, at least for this moment. =)
-Sugar daddies though are highly welcomed, no love attached. Yea i'm know i'm asking for wayyy too much. =P

Finances:$$$

-So very important, i want to be exceedingly prosperous! And to do so, hopefully i find a decent paying part-time job next year. *Hopefully* expenditure is minimised too, though very unlikely.
-To land the sugar daddy/ies with no love string attached.

Family/friends:

-Nothing but overall happiness/luck and good health. Maybe wealth too, its nice to always be on the receiving end. =p

**********************************************************************************

Last but not least, to everyone who's reading...

Have a fantabulous New Year!!!

Yours truly,
BLOO ( 30th Dec '05)
