.Beautiful Disaster.

I dun't know if others feel the same way,
but now that the Arts canteen is officially closed for renovation,
school just doesn't have the same vibe or feeling anymore..

No more place to gather and talk crap over a quick lunch or late dinner

No more place to check hotties out or simply people watch

No more place to get (at least proper) meals/drinks/snacks in between lectures

No more place to get free strawberry milkshakes =(

(strawberry milkshake was my occasional perk-me-up too..)

It just sucks.

I din't know how to feel on the first day of school to see people absentmindedly walk the whole of AS6 corridor to the arts canteen just to realise, "Oops its close.." and then turn away looking all at once hungry and dismayed.

Sociology dpt seems quieter too.
And i use to relish getting out of lt9 and lt10 in between lectures to grab somethin from the canteen since its so near by...

Alas, i will have to make do with an empty stomach throughout now.
Especially on Mondays.
I might as well fast every Monday man.
I have 2 lectures back to back on even weeks
One tutorial and 2 lectures back to back on odd weeks
I will just dieeee of embaressment from a growling stomach.

And the push-carts around Arts fac?
They don't seem the least appetising...
And they run out of food pretty quickly too.
Which leaves the central forum and central library as the main social venues for now
How pathetic =(
